Why Kubelka-Munk?

Most online color mixers simply average RGB values — that's how light mixes, not paint. Our tool uses the Kubelka-Munk model, the same algorithm used by paint manufacturers to predict pigment behavior. It simulates how real pigments absorb and scatter light, giving you results that match what you'd see on a physical palette.
